In the very early hours of the morning of Sept.13,2005,someone brutally stabbed Lena ,ending her young life. She had just turned 22 years old, twenty one days before she was murdered.Fire was then set to her apartment. As a result of the fire, 5 year old Mason and baby Christian were taken from us.They died in their beds as they slept.Christian was just two months away from his second birthday. Our case remains unsolved as of now.We will not stop searching for truth and justice. We want the person(s) responsible to be found and held accountable.A murderer of three very young victims is free, somewhere out there. To date, my family has been able to get a billboard erected in Girard with pictures of all three and a request for anyone who has information to come forward.4,000 fliers were delivered to households within a half-mile to a mile radius of our tragedy.Fliers were placed in businesses in all surrounding communities.Cards that were a mirror of the billboards were passed out at football games and in stores. Jan. 2009 - I have the billboard up again for the third time since the murders. This time it is in Niles on the left hand side on 422 across from the old YMCA,just as you start down the hill to go towards the mall. Not to far past the Country Fair store.Hopefully...someone will come forward with information on our case. Lena's family organized a candlelight vigil. The family of Lena and BRAC,(Blue Ribbon Arson Comm.),have a combined total of 25,000 dollars offered as a reward for arrest and conviction in this case . We ordered 1,000 bumper stickers and our goal was to get all of them on vehicles,I am happy to report that we have almost reached our goal! Thank you to the folks who cared enough and placed our bumper stickers on your vehicle. The bumper stickers read: "Justice for Lena,Mason,Christian Murdered on 9-13-05" and it lists our website. Still,no closure on our case. This does not hamper our resolve,it only makes our determination stronger. I want to thank some folks who,I believe, have gone the extra mile in helping us in the midst of our tragedy and in our quest for justice.
